Working Processes

Continuous extrusion of rubber tubing with and without textile reinforcement; Autoclave vulcanization with preforming; Finishing operations such as: cutting to size, pad printing, marking, insertion of sheaths, assembly of quick couplings, and fittings with the aid of closure collars.

FINISHING

Sagom Rubber is capable of applying finishing operations to tubing, such as cutting, circumferential lines for collar positioning, punching for mounting reference, installation of sheaths (thermo-reflective, heat-shrinkable, anti-wear), and assembly of quick couplings and multi-way inserts.

DRAWING

Two continuous extrusion lines with diameters of 90mm and 120mm enable us to extrude tubing with internal diameters from 5mm to 60mm.
Textile reinforcement braided with Para-aramid, Meta-aramid, and Polyester fibers.
Co-extrusion capability allows for the use of two different types of materials in the inner layer.
A third line is dedicated to the extrusion of single-layer tubes (all rubber).
All lines are equipped with an inkjet printer for continuous product marking and in-line external diameter control through laser instrumentation.

VULCANIZATION

Four saturated steam autoclaves allow us to vulcanize various types of materials in different shapes according to customer needs.
